					<description>I lived in Salt Lake for 18 years and never went out to Saltair. You never even hear about it down there. It's like the whole thing has just been wiped off the face of the earth.

I remember being a kid and hearing about it from my mom and not even believing that it existed. Thinking she was lying. The lake itself is so ignored and crummy at this point that the idea of anything tourist-y near it--let alone something as once-grand as Saltair--just seems totally ridiculous.</description>
