It's interesting to look at the difference between Allen's style on this and on Stand Up Comic.  The CD performance is much better than this one, fewer pauses, and the audience seems to be much more into it.  I can't think of any jokes that were in that version that aren't in this one, but it seems to flow a bit better.  He also seems to mug a bit (although of course in the audio track it's impossible to tell what Allen is physically doing).

Allen explains his jokes a little here.  The ending line on the CD version is "The joke's on them 'cause it's restricted."  Good rhythm.  On the televised performance, it's "The joke's on them because they don't allow jews."  The rhythm isn't as good, although I think part of it is his telling.  I think it's possible to do the line well, he just doesn't here.

I dunno, I'm just harping I guess.  It's a great routine regardless, I've just heard it dozens of times.  I could nearly recite it from memory by this point.</description>
